Especially those creative cold coffee gurus.

I snag so many cute Starbuck cold cup wraps off of Creative Fabrica. Including this cute dog lover image.
I used JDC Mint Vinyl and a left over holographic vinyl that I believe was CRICUT as it wasn’t my friend when it came to weeding. LOL I tell ya some vinyl is just absolutely horrendous to work with.

Now let me give you the low down on these cup wraps. I looked at this project endeavor and thought to myself, ” OH I TOTALLY CAN MAKE THOSE”. I shouldn’t have been so quick to think this was an easy peesy 1-2-3 and done. I was ever so wrong. Has anyone had this grand idea and thought it will be a breeze and it was a nightmare with maybe some choice words ….shhhh. LOL I feel your pain. So, I admit it was a hot mess in a hand basket. But we refocus, adjust and try again.
What is the easiest approach to application you might ask? Oh it is making lots of cuts. Let me explain what I do. Size it in Cricut Design Space. Cut it on the Maker or Air 2. Weed it all. Layer the colors I am using. Once all my layers are on then transfer paper (contact paper is my fave for these projects) I am ready to hold it up to my cup and gauge where I need to make cuts.

This is important for two reasons. First reason, I have more control over a smaller piece of the image. Secondly, I can trim smaller pieces of the images to fill in blank areas to give it a more seamless look.

As for as sizes goes. I still have yet to hit the bullseye on what is perfecto! But I am working on it. For my dog lover wrap I cut at 9 inches wide and 8 inches for the height. I rather have extra pieces to work with then be left with odd blank areas. Now, please note these dimensions are for a 24 oz Starbucks cold cup.
Here are a few others I have made :). Let me know in the comments which is your favorite. If you are into crafting custom cups and Epoxy Tumblers check out this tutorial on YT
